This small office building is part of the larger complex of residential buildings and landscape that form the Village by the Arboretum. The building is placed such that its west and north facades address a small man-made lake. Here the building is bounded by a wide promenade and parapet wall which drops to the water below. In this way the classical pavilion-like form of the building appears to be set on a pedestal with its image reflected in the water's surface below. Viewed from across the lake the crisp edges of the building and parapet walls cut the water and together with the soft natural edge of the lake supplement the picturesque landscape of the Village. The building accommodates a medical clinic on the top floor and related retail or office uses on the ground floor.
